LG Optimus L7 II Dual listed running Android 4.3?

LG Optimus L7 II Dual listed running Android 4.3

While Android 4.3 never actually materialized at Google I/O last month, the latest version of Jelly Bean keeps popping up and making cameos all over. It most recently appeared in the specs for LG’s Optimus L7 II Dual (that name’s a handful, we know) on the company’s website. The handset was running Android 4.1 when we played with it at Mobile World Congress and appears to have shipped with that OS version in some markets. Obviously, it’s only a matter of time until Android 4.3 becomes official but we fully expect it to debut on Google’s own Nexus 4 flagship before coming to any other device. In light of this, and considering the Optimus L7 II features a 4.3-inch screen, perhaps we’re just looking at a typo? We’ve reached out to LG for clarification — we’ll keep you posted.

Sony has officially announced the Jelly Bean 4.1 Android update for Xperia SXperia Acro S and Xperia SL. After a lot of false alarms going around the web related to the software update, Sony Mobile Team has now Tweeted that JB update is rolling out for these devices. Company also added that Xperia Ion will be the next device in the series to receive the Jelly Bean update.

A lot of users at the Xperia Blog have been reporting to receive the Jelly Bean 4.1 update on their Xperia devices. So if you are waiting for the update then wait for some time and your mobile might prompt you to install the update automatically. Make sure you have checked the Scheduled Checking option in the settings menu under the Software update section of your device.

You can also update your devices using the Sony PC Companion application too. To update manually you will first need to download the update package from the Sony Website and then follow the instructions in the Sony PC Companion Application.

Currently the change log in the software is not available from Sony regarding the upgraded features in Xperia SXperia SL and Xperia Arco S. But, we are sure that your music and media applications will be upgraded with the new features for sure. If you have received the Jelly Bean 4.1 update on your Xperia devices then let us know in the comments about the new software experience.
